This paper will provide the health care management student the opportunity to address a specific situation in a health care facility and apply current policies from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to ensure that the health care entity is compliant.This paper should integrate both the health information aspects of the course and the quality improvement approaches. Select one of the health care entity types below.

Once you have notified me of the health care entity that you want to address, then you will need to obtain at least 10 peer-reviewed articles relating to that type of health care facility and reporting on quality measures in 2018 or beyond based on the CMS requirements.The 10 articles may provide both a historical as well as the present day reporting mandates from CMS with the key focus on the current requirements.You should address the following questions in your paper:
What is the historical background for reporting quality measures?
How did the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015 change these requirements?
As the heath care manager for the specific health care facility (Whatever type you select), you want to ensure that the facility is aware of the CMS requirements and does the following:
oMeets all four (4) of the Merit-basedIncentive Payment System (MIPS) requirements
oSelects the appropriate measures for reporting (select the appropriate number for each category)
oDescribe how you will obtain the data for these measures
oDescribe any limitations/barriers your organization faces
oAre there any lessons learned that you could share with other similar health care organizations or CMS?
What are the pros and cons of your health care organization joining an Advanced Payment Model?
What are the final recommendations you have for your health care facility?
The Quality Measures Paper should be a maximum of 8-10 pages, double spaced, using a 12-point font size and New Times Roman. Appropriate references should be included and must follow the APA 6.0 style for citations. The Quality Measures Paper should contain the following sections:

- Executive Summary (summary of the entire paper; 1-2 pages)
- Discuss the questions as noted above and be as specific as possible
- Provide the recommendations and lesson learned
- Reference page
- Appendix: you may include any diagrams or a list/table of the specific quality measures in the appendix.
